GLSY High-Drainage Screw Press for Screen Residue Dewatering
Brief Description
GLSY high-drainage screw press is designed for dewatering and squeezing of screen residues from coarse & fine bar screens in wastewater treatment plants. It accepts screen residues directly from screen outlets, squeezes and drains sludge, reduces moisture content for easy transportation.
Product Overview
GLSY series high-drainage screw press belongs to screen residue conveying & dewatering equipment. It connects with discharge ports of coarse and fine bar screen cleaners. Screen residues fall into the press chamber, then get squeezed and dewatered. Separated wastewater drains from the bottom tank, and dewatered screen residues are discharged for outward disposal.

Working Principle
The machine consists of drainage zone, feeding zone, screw conveying zone and discharging zone. Screen residues enter the feeding chamber and are squeezed inside the compression zone by the screw. Liquid filtrate flows through slotted tubes into water collection tank. The screw lifts pressure gradually. The conveying section ends shortly before discharge outlet, keeping materials continuously compressed inside pressure tube. The heavy-duty steel screw ensures rigidity and non-deformation even under wet material conditions. The built-in flushing assembly automatically cleans dewatering section.
Key Design & Performance Features
1.Matches directly with coarse/fine bar screen outlet, seamless material receiving.
2.High rigidity steel screw, anti-deformation for long-term operation.
3.Automatic flushing device for self-cleaning of dewatering section.
4.Stable squeezing effect, outlet moisture controlled at 40–45%.
5.Compact layout, small footprint, easy installation with storage bin.
