PLC-Controlled Automatic Integrated Aerated Grit Chamber | Unattended Grit-Removal Pretreatment Equipment
Brief Description
Automated integrated aerated grit chamber equipped with PLC control system, supporting local touch-screen operation and remote cloud monitoring. Realise unattended running for wastewater pretreatment. Achieve ≥95% grit removal for grit >0.2 mm, reduce manual inspection and maintenance cost for water-treatment plant.
Product Overview
Traditional grit-removal facilities require frequent manual inspection, periodic shutdown cleaning and high labour cost. This intelligent integrated aerated grit chamber integrates screening, aeration, cyclone sedimentation, grit-water separation and full-set PLC intelligent control system. All core mechanical parts are factory pre-assembled and tested. The control platform supports local touch-screen operation plus remote data viewing, automatic fault alarm and adaptive running-parameter adjustment. The system can realise unattended continuous operation. It reduces human intervention and lowers long-term OPEX, for municipal and industrial wastewater plants pursuing smart water-management.

Working Principle
Multi-stage physical separation, coordinated by intelligent control logic, no chemical consumption:
1.Rotary drum screen automatically intercepts large debris, auto back-washing prevents screen blockage.
2.Frequency-controlled Roots blower supplies air for aeration scrubbing; system adjusts aeration volume according to water-quality fluctuation.
3.Tangential inflow builds hydraulic cyclone field for enhanced grit gathering.
4.Gravity sedimentation completes grit enrichment.
5.Screw conveyor runs according to preset logic for grit collection & dewatering; filtrate flows back upstream. Control system collects running data and triggers alarm for abnormal status.
Key Design & Performance Features
1.Full automatic unattended operation: PLC system realises auto start-stop, adaptive parameter tuning, fault automatic alarm.
2.Dual-mode operation: local touch-screen + remote cloud monitoring for real-time data review.
3.Frequency-variable aeration control: adjust air volume matching actual working condition to cut energy consumption.
4.Integrated automatic back-wash function for rotary drum screen, lower manual cleaning frequency.
5.Long-life corrosion-resistant tank and mechanical components, reduce failure rate and maintenance workload.
Applications
1.Smart municipal wastewater treatment plants.
2.Large-scale industrial park sewage stations.
3.Wastewater projects aiming to cut operation-labour input.
4.New-build and retrofitting projects for intelligent water-treatment upgrading.
