Modular Rotary Fiber Disc Filter Large Capacity For Municipal & Industrial Water Deep Treatment
Brief Description
The modular fiber disc filter offers optional disc diameters of 2000 mm / 3000 mm, with configurable disc quantities ranging from 2 to 16 pieces. The total filtering area can be flexibly adjusted to meet various large flow rate requirements for municipal and industrial water projects.
Product Overview
The modular rotary fiber disc filter allows flexible configuration of disc quantity and diameter to adjust total filtering area and treatment capacity. Its standard design covers small-to-medium and large flow operating conditions. Main components include a central rotary drum, multiple filter disc modules, suction backwash system, drive unit and automatic control cabinet. Adopting a fully submerged gravity filtration design, it is widely applied for large-scale water deep polishing.

Working Principle
Influent flows into the filter tank through a steady-flow trough. Gravity drives water through the fiber filter cloth on submerged disc modules. Suspended solids are trapped on the outer surface of the filter cloth. Clean water collects inside the central rotary drum and discharges. As contaminants accumulate and raise the liquid level to the trigger threshold, the drive motor rotates the filter discs. A negative-pressure suction backwash device removes intercepted sludge online without stopping filtration. Sludge settled at the tank bottom can be discharged on a preset schedule.
Key Design & Performance Features
1.Modular standardized design: flexible selection of disc quantity and diameter to match different project flow requirements.
2.Thin-wall filter cartridge: maintains mechanical strength while enabling more filter discs to achieve larger total filter area and higher throughput.
3.Online non-stop backwashing with low backwash water consumption.
4.Individual fan-shaped filter screen can be disassembled and replaced independently for convenient module maintenance.
5.Wear-resistant polyurethane underwater sealing assembly, reducing downtime for large-capacity continuous-operation projects.
Applications
1.Tertiary treatment for large-scale municipal wastewater plants.
2.Large-flow side-stream filtration of industrial circulating water.
3.Industrial process water preparation.
4.Water reuse projects requiring high throughput.
