High Stability Fiber Disc Filter <10μm Filtration Precision Anti-Impact Load For Tertiary Polishing
Brief Description
The fiber disc filter adopts modified twill woven fiber cloth with a filtration precision below 10μm. It maintains stable SS removal performance under fluctuating inlet suspended solid loads, effectively preventing filter cloth clogging and fiber shedding for long-term stable water polishing.
Product Overview
The submerged rotary fiber disc filter adopts specially modified fiber material and twill weaving technology as the filter medium. Its thick fiber pile structure delivers stable microfiltration capacity for fine particle interception. The equipment withstands fluctuating inlet SS loads and maintains stable effluent SS ≤ 10mg/L. It serves as a reliable tertiary polishing solution to replace traditional sand filters for sewage and industrial water treatment.

Working Principle
Raw water flows into the filter tank by gravity. Tiny suspended particles are intercepted by the thick fiber pile on both sides of the rotating discs. The purified water penetrates the filter cloth, converges into the central rotary drum and discharges out. As pollutants accumulate on the cloth surface, the tank water level rises and triggers the negative-pressure suction backwash system. The filter discs rotate continuously to achieve full-area online cleaning. Filtration and backwash operate simultaneously without system shutdown. Bottom sludge is discharged periodically to reduce filter cloth contamination.
Key Design & Performance Features
1.Modified twill-weave fiber filter cloth with excellent anti-impact performance; no fiber shedding, breakage or permanent clogging during repeated backwashing.
2.Stable filtration precision below 10μm, ensuring effective capture of fine solid particles.
3.13–18mm fiber pile height balances high water flux and easy sludge release, preventing contaminants from embedding deep into the filter cloth.
4.Superior anti-shock load capacity, maintaining stable effluent quality even with fluctuating inlet SS within the design range.
5.Thin-wall filter cartridge structure guarantees overall mechanical strength while allowing more disc configurations for larger treatment capacity.
Applications
1.Advanced tertiary treatment for municipal wastewater plants to meet Class 1-A discharge standards.
2.Tertiary fine filtration for industrial wastewater.
3.Pretreatment for water reuse projects.
