Fine Perforated Plate Screen for Wastewater Solid Removal
Brief Description
Fine Perforated Plate Screening Equipment is designed to separate solid debris from wastewater using perforated screening surfaces. It is suitable for applications requiring the removal of fibers, hair, paper pieces, grass, and other suspended solids during the pretreatment stage.
Product Overview
The NJL series perforated plate screen uses closely arranged circular openings to retain solid materials as wastewater passes through the screening plates. Compared with conventional bar-type screening arrangements, perforated plates provide a different screening surface that may be suitable for capturing certain flat or fibrous materials.
During operation, the moving screen plates carry captured debris toward the upper discharge area. A flushing system assists in removing the collected screenings, helping maintain continuous screening operation.
The equipment can be considered for wastewater streams containing mixed solid debris, particularly where fine screening is required before subsequent treatment stages.

Working Principle
Wastewater enters the internal inlet and passes outward through the perforated plates. Solid particles and debris larger than the effective openings, as well as certain fibrous or flat materials depending on their characteristics, are retained on the screening surfaces.
The chain-driven plate system transports the retained solids upward. At the upper section, the plates change direction and the flushing system washes the accumulated debris into the collection trough for discharge.
Key Design & Performance Features
1. Perforated Screening Surface
Uses circular openings rather than a conventional open bar arrangement.
2. Fibrous Debris Interception
Designed to capture hair, fibers, and other screenings, subject to opening size and material characteristics.
3. Flat Solids Removal
Suitable for applications where paper pieces, grass, and similar materials may be present.
4. Moving Plate Mechanism
Carries captured solids toward the discharge section.
5. Flushing-Assisted Cleaning
Helps remove debris from the screen plates.
6. Replaceable Plate Structure
Supports inspection and replacement when necessary.
7. Screening Specification Options
Opening size and other design parameters should be selected according to project requirements.
Applications
1. Fine screening in wastewater pretreatment
2. Wastewater containing hair and fibrous materials
3. Paper manufacturing wastewater
4. Food processing wastewater
5. Slaughterhouse wastewater
6. Municipal wastewater screening
