Lamella Clarifier with Built-in Sludge Scraper for Reliable Sludge Removal
Brief Description
This Lamella Clarifier integrates inclined plate sedimentation with a built-in mechanical sludge scraper to support efficient solids separation and sludge discharge. The scraper conveys settled sludge toward the bottom discharge outlet, helping reduce sludge accumulation and hardening. Automatic flushing and an external coagulation dosing system are available as optional configurations.
Product Overview
The system features a water distribution zone, inclined plate settling assembly, bottom sludge hopper and built-in sludge scraper. The scraper assists in collecting and conveying settled solids toward the sludge outlet. Depending on the project requirements, the equipment can also be fitted with automatic flushing pipelines and a separate chemical dosing unit. Its configuration is suitable for applications requiring controlled sludge collection and convenient maintenance.
Working Principle
1. Wastewater is distributed evenly through the inclined plate settling zone.
2. Suspended solids settle onto the plates and slide toward the bottom sludge hopper.
3. The built-in scraper conveys accumulated sludge toward the discharge outlet.
4. Clarified water is collected at the upper section and transferred to the next process.
