Lamella Clarifier for Efficient Solid-Liquid Separation in Water Treatment
Brief Description
The Lamella Clarifier uses inclined plate sedimentation technology to enhance solid-liquid separation while reducing the required footprint. With optimized water distribution, a sludge hopper and an optional built-in sludge scraper, it provides an efficient solution for suspended solids removal in water and wastewater treatment. Automatic flushing and external chemical dosing systems can be selected according to project requirements.
Product Overview
The equipment consists of a water distribution zone, inclined plate settling zone, bottom sludge hopper and water collection system. A built-in sludge scraper can be configured to convey settled sludge toward the discharge outlet, while automatic flushing pipelines help maintain plate cleanliness. Carbon steel and stainless steel options are available, with customized dimensions and treatment capacities to suit different project conditions.

Working Principle
1. Wastewater enters the distribution zone and flows evenly into the inclined plate settling area.
2. Suspended solids settle onto the inclined plates and slide downward under gravity.
3. Settled sludge collects in the bottom hopper and is discharged, with mechanical scraping available when configured.
4. Clarified water rises to the collection system and flows to the next treatment stage.
