Customized Shaftless Screw Conveyor for Integrated Wastewater Screening and Sludge Handling Systems
Brief Description
The Customized Shaftless Screw Conveyor provides a flexible conveying solution for wastewater treatment plants requiring equipment tailored to their process layout. It can be configured to transfer mechanical screen screenings, dewatered sludge, and compatible solid residues. Conveyor length, spiral diameter, trough structure, material selection, drive system, and inlet and outlet arrangements can be specified according to project requirements.
Product Overview
Wastewater treatment plants often have different equipment layouts, discharge heights, installation spaces, and material handling requirements. A customized shaftless screw conveyor helps connect individual treatment units and transport collected solids to designated discharge locations.
The conveyor can be designed for integration with mechanical bar screens, fine screens, screw press dewatering machines, collection hoppers, and sludge containers.
Its shaftless spiral structure provides a conveying channel without a central shaft. Based on the application, the equipment can be supplied with an appropriate trough, housing, drive unit, and connection arrangement.
Final design specifications should be confirmed according to the material characteristics, required conveying capacity, installation angle, available space, and operating conditions.

Working Principle
The material enters the conveyor through a designated inlet or hopper. The motor and gearbox drive the shaftless spiral, which advances the material through the conveying channel toward the outlet.
The conveyor is arranged to match the upstream equipment discharge and downstream collection point. For an integrated system, the inlet height, outlet position, conveyor length, and control requirements are coordinated with the overall wastewater treatment process.
