Product Overview
Our Rotary Drum Micro-screen is a premium high-efficiency self-cleaning filtration system, dedicated to removing fine suspended solids, fibers and particulate matter for tertiary wastewater treatment, water reuse and industrial process uses. Driven by a continuously rotating drum equipped with fine micro-screen panels, it yields stable, high-quality filtrate with minimal operator input, making it the optimal selection for attaining stringent effluent quality norms.
Working Principle
Water flows into the open end of the horizontally mounted drum and distributes internally, moving outward through fine screen panels (10–100 micron mesh or wedge wire) under low hydraulic head for gravity filtration, while solids are retained on the inner surface. Slow drum rotation lifts the captured solids out of the water, and high-pressure spray nozzles using clean filtrate discharge the solids into an internal collection trough at the apex. Clarified filtrate is collected in the outer effluent chamber, and the rinsed solids are conveyed for disposal.
