Engineered with a continuously rotating drum fitted with fine micro-screen panels, our high-efficiency self-cleaning Rotary Drum Micro-screen excels at removing fine suspended solids, fibers and particulate matter in tertiary wastewater treatment, water reuse and industrial process applications. It delivers consistent, premium-quality filtrate with minimal manual supervision, representing the perfect solution to meet stringent effluent quality standards reliably.
Working Principle
In the horizontal rotary drum filtration system, influent enters the open drum end and distributes internally, with low-hydraulic-head gravity filtration driving water outward through 10–100 micron mesh or wedge wire screens while solids are sequestered on the inner surface. Slow drum rotation elevates the captured solids above the waterline, where high-pressure spray nozzles using clean filtrate flush the solids into an internal trough; clarified filtrate is collected in the outer effluent chamber, and separated sludge is conveyed for disposal.
