Product Overview
Focused on efficiency and consistent performance, our Rotary Drum Fine Screen is a robust solids separation solution for challenging wastewater applications. It excels at extracting fine suspended materials—scum, short fibers and particles alike—resulting in clarified effluent and dense, dewatered screenings for simplified downstream disposal.
Working Principle
This all-inclusive automated system eliminates manual solid handling by merging interception, cleaning, lifting, and dewatering into one streamlined process, cutting labor demands and operational complexity.
1. Interception
With a 35° optimally angled drum rotating steadily in the channel, wastewater enters the inlet and passes through fine screens that trap and hold solid particles effectively.
2. Cleaning
As the drum revolves, adhered solids are cleared automatically by a dual system of durable nylon brushes and high-pressure water jets, keeping the screen clog-free for uninterrupted operation.
3. Lifting & Conveyance
Separated screenings are fed into the built-in central screw conveyor, which lifts solids upward and out of the water stream smoothly, eliminating the need for manual material transfer.
4. Dewatering & Discharge
Solids are pressed and compacted to reduce moisture and volume, then discharged as dry cake into containers. The fully automated closed process contains odors and maintains sanitary conditions.
