Product Overview
Built to deliver efficiency and consistent reliability, our Rotary Drum Fine Screen offers a complete solids separation system for challenging wastewater environments. It stands out in removing fine suspended matter—scum, short fibers and particulates included—producing clean effluent and dense, dewatered screenings to optimize downstream processes.
Working Principle
This compact, smartly engineered system merges interception, cleaning, lifting, and dewatering into one self-contained unit, delivering a fully autonomous solid-liquid separation solution for wastewater treatment facilities.
1. Interception
The 35-degree angled drum rotates uniformly inside the channel, creating ideal flow conditions. Wastewater flows into the intake, and the precision fine screen intercepts coarse and fine solid particles alike.
2. Cleaning
Self-cleaning operates nonstop with drum rotation: wear-resistant nylon brushes dislodge surface solids, while high-pressure sprayers flush the screen clean, preserving filtration efficiency and prolonging service life.
3. Lifting & Conveyance
Separated screenings are channeled to the integrated internal screw conveyor, which lifts solids vertically out of the water flow smoothly and efficiently, with no material jamming.
4. Dewatering & Discharge
Solids are pressed and compacted to remove excess moisture, reducing disposal volume substantially. Dewatered cake is discharged automatically, and the hermetically sealed process contains foul odors for a clean working environment.
