Product Overview

The screw press sludge dewatering machine offers exceptional performance advantages: clog-free continuous running, robust wear resistance, low wear loss, economical energy consumption and easy operation. It addresses the long-term technical issues of conventional sludge dewatering devices—frequent clogging, large space demand, inability to handle low-concentration sludge and oily sludge, high energy consumption and intricate operation—delivering high-efficiency and energy-saving dewatering. This all-in-one machine merges a fully automatic control cabinet, flocculation mixing tank, sludge thickening-dewatering unit and filtrate storage tank. Operating fully automatically, it achieves efficient flocculation, completes continuous sludge thickening and pressing, and disposes filtrate via recycling or standard emission.

 

Working Principle

Not only does the screw press sludge dewatering machine have a thickening section, but it also features a dewatering section. Sludge is processed by gravity thickening in the thickening section, and then delivered to the dewatering section. During its forward travel, the filter gaps and screw pitch decrease gradually, and the obstruction of the back pressure plate generates remarkable internal pressure, which continuously cuts down the sludge volume and achieves thorough dewatering.

The screw press sludge dewatering machine integrates both thickening and dewatering sections, enabling it to handle both high-concentration and low-concentration sludge directly, from thickening to dewatering the concentrated water. It is suitable for a wide range of sludge concentrations, from 2000mg/L to 50000mg/L.

2. Fixed and Moving Rings Replace Filter Cloth, Self-Cleaning, Clog-Free, and Easy to Handle Oily Sludge

Under the rotation of the screw, the moving rings in the screw press sludge dewatering machine continuously shift relative to the fixed rings, achieving a continuous self-cleaning process and avoiding the clogging problems commonly found in traditional dewatering machines. Therefore, it has a strong capacity for handling oily sludge, is easy to separate, and does not clog; moreover, it requires no external water for high-pressure washing, is clean and environmentally friendly, odorless, and produces no secondary sludge.

3. Low-speed operation, low noise, and low energy consumption

The screw press sludge dewatering machine relies on internal pressure for dewatering, eliminating the need for large machines like rollers. Its low operating speed of only 2-3 revolutions per minute results in water and energy savings, as well as low noise. Its average energy consumption is 1/8 that of a belt press and 1/20 that of a centrifuge, with a unit power consumption of only 0.01-0.1 kWh/kg-ds, reducing the operating costs of wastewater treatment systems.
