Product Overview
Engineered and built in‑house, our DNY belt filter press is a robust industrial dewatering solution. Its unique S‑curved filter belt configuration ensures progressive pressure rise and smooth release, protecting filter media while boosting cake dryness. The unit is highly versatile, handling organic hydrophilic and inorganic hydrophobic materials alike, with specialized optimization for chemical, mining, and water treatment sludge. The dewatering process uses a dual‑belt and roller assembly to trap and compress sludge or slurry, efficiently separating filtrate and solids. With an elongated gravity settling zone, this model series offers mature, field‑proven processing for a wide range of challenging materials.
Working Principle
DNY belt filter press integrated concentration and dehydration device can be divided into four basic stages :
Sludge flocculation: sludge must go through the flocculation process before dewatering. Flocculation refers to the pretreatment of suspended solids with a flocculant. Flocculant and sludge are mixed by stirring, and the solid particles in the suspension system are bonded to produce agglomeration, so that the solid phase and the liquid phase are separated. At the same time, a small amount of coagulant aid is added to improve the coagulation effect.
Gravity dewatering: In order to reduce the fluidity of sludge more effectively before pressing, more free water must be removed. The filter belt has an upper inclination angle. The friction coefficient of sludge, free water and filter belt is different. The sludge moves up with the filter belt, and the free water is removed. The sludge is evacuated and evenly distributed on the surface of the filter belt to further enhance the dewatering effect.
Pressing dewatering: after gravity dewatering, with the movement of the filter belt into the wedge pressure section between the upper and lower filter belt, pre-dewatering, and then into the ' S-shaped pressing area, due to the shear force generated by the shear force of the sludge with the filter belt in the multi-silver phase bending, thus the internal free water.
Filter belt cleaning: It is composed of a sprayer, a cleaning water receiving box and a cleaning cover. When the filter belt of the belt filter press travels, it continuously passes through the cleaning device, and is impacted by the pressure water ejected from the sprayer. The material remaining on the filter belt is separated from the filter belt under the action of pressure water, so that the filter belt is regenerated to prepare for the next dehydration process.
