Product Description

Back-Raking Mechanical Bar Screen for Wastewater Treatment

Brief Description

The Back-Raking Mechanical Bar Screen is designed for preliminary wastewater treatment to intercept and remove suspended solids, fibrous materials, and other debris. It helps reduce the entry of coarse solids into downstream treatment units.

Product Overview

The Back-Raking Mechanical Bar Screen is suitable for municipal wastewater treatment, industrial wastewater treatment, and other applicable water treatment projects. It uses a mechanical rake mechanism to remove debris retained on the bar rack and lift it to the discharge point for collection and disposal.

The equipment can be configured according to channel dimensions, flow requirements, bar spacing, and site installation conditions to meet different project needs.

Working Principle

As wastewater flows through the bar rack, larger solid materials are retained by the bars. During operation, the mechanical rake moves along its designed path to collect and lift the trapped debris to the discharge point, where the screenings are collected for further handling.

Mechanical screening removal helps reduce debris accumulation and minimize its impact on water flow and downstream treatment equipment.
