Corrosion Resistant Double Curved Surface Mixer with FRP Stainless Steel Impeller for Industrial Water Treatment
Brief Description
GSJ series double curved surface mixer is a large-volume water circulation stirring equipment dedicated to the water treatment industry. It adopts a unique double-curved impeller structure to form gentle water circulation throughout the tank without stirring dead zones and features low operating energy consumption. The machine is installed in an overhead suspended way above the tank, suitable for various biochemical tanks in municipal sewage treatment, as well as liquid-liquid and solid-liquid mixing processes in chemical, energy and light industries, with easy model selection and convenient daily maintenance.
Product Overview
The GSJ series double curved surface mixer is a vertical suspended water stirring and circulating equipment specially developed for water treatment processes. The complete unit is mainly composed of transmission driving components, double curved impeller, base, hoisting fixing structure and electric control system. Equipped with large integrated curved impellers, the product provides two optional materials: fiberglass reinforced plastic and stainless steel, to adapt to water bodies with different corrosion levels. A full range of specifications including various impeller diameters, rotating speeds and power ratings are available, which can be flexibly selected according to tank volume, water depth and medium concentration. Each specification corresponds to a definite effective stirring service area. With compact and sturdy overall structure, it is installed by suspension above the water surface, perfectly matching all kinds of biochemical tanks in municipal sewage treatment. Its standard parameters are calibrated for conventional municipal sewage conditions to cover most water stirring applications. The equipment features easy installation, commissioning and convenient later inspection & maintenance.
Working Principle
1. The core double curved impeller is integrally formed by curved surface spinning. Water flows in from the center of the impeller with minimal inflow resistance, ensuring even stress across all blade areas and balanced, stable overall operation.
2. Eight diversion blades are evenly distributed on the curved surface. While the equipment is running, fluid generates continuous circulating hydrodynamic energy by combining its own gravitational potential energy with centrifugal force produced by the rotating impeller.
3. Driven by gravity, water flows tangentially along the impeller circumference, bounces back after hitting the tank wall, and forms up-and-down three-dimensional circulating water flow inside the tank.
4. Bidirectional cross flow is created vertically (axial direction) and horizontally (radial direction) simultaneously, which completely eliminates stirring dead zones at the tank bottom and corners, enabling thorough uniform mixing and continuous circulation of the entire pool water.

Key Design & Performance Features
1. Full-range stirring without dead zones The oversized curved impeller creates 3D three-dimensional water circulation with uniform flow in the entire tank, thoroughly solving sludge sedimentation at the bottom and stirring blind corners common to traditional mixers to deliver superior stirring performance.
2. Energy saving with low installed power The large-area impeller can drive large-volume water circulation with low motor power, greatly reducing energy consumption compared with traditional stirring equipment and bringing obvious power-saving benefits in long-term operation.
3. Flexible installation & easy maintenance Designed as overhead suspended structure above the tank, compatible with most conventional sewage tank types. The streamlined structure enables easy inspection and disassembly without large auxiliary tools, lowering daily operation and maintenance costs.
4. Corrosion-resistant material for harsh environments Fiberglass or stainless steel impellers are optional, featuring resistance to high temperature, acid and alkali, suitable for treatment of high-concentration and strongly corrosive wastewater.
5. Stable operation & long service life Balanced stress distribution on the impeller leads to slight vibration and low noise during operation, less wear of transmission components and enhanced overall durability of the machine.
Applications
1. Municipal Sewage Treatment (Core Application)
Widely used in flocculation tanks, regulating tanks, anaerobic tanks, anoxic tanks, aerobic tanks, nitrification tanks and denitrification tanks of wastewater treatment plants. It keeps activated sludge suspended by continuous water agitation and ensures stable water circulation of the biochemical sewage treatment system.
2. General Industrial Production Processes
Applicable to all production processes requiring liquid stirring, solid-liquid mixing and gas-liquid blending in environmental protection, chemical, energy and light industries.
