Cast Iron Submersible Mixer for Sludge Storage Tank and Small Anaerobic Tank Wastewater Treatment
Brief Description
QJB cast iron submersible mixer adopts integrated cast iron impeller and housing. It creates powerful turbulent flow for local agitation in medium & small wastewater tanks, preventing sludge sedimentation and adapting to water containing hard sundries.
Product Overview
The complete unit operates fully submerged below the liquid surface. All wetted components are integrally cast, featuring high structural rigidity and outstanding impact resistance. Equipped with a sealed submersible motor and double mechanical seal structure, this series enables long-term continuous operation in sludge storage tanks, anoxic tanks and small biochemical tanks.

Working Principle
The submersible motor directly drives the cast impeller to rotate at high speed. The rotating impeller generates strong turbulent thrust to keep solid particles evenly suspended in liquid. Matched with aeration facilities, it optimizes oxygen distribution and improves treatment efficiency in small pools.

Key Design & Performance Features
Adopting integral cast iron construction, this mixer delivers excellent impact resistance and runs steadily under harsh water conditions containing hard solid impurities. It is fitted with a back-swept cast impeller featuring optimized hydraulic design. The self-cleaning property effectively lowers the risk of fiber entanglement. The motor is Class F insulated with IP68 waterproof rating, equipped with imported bearings and an anti-condensation device. Dual tungsten carbide mechanical seals are adopted. External fasteners can be customized to stainless steel or anti-corrosion carbon steel. Compact overall structure enables easy on-site installation and routine maintenance.
Applications
Suitable for municipal sewage sludge storage tank, small anaerobic tank, anoxic tank and regulating tank; also applicable to industrial wastewater mixing with suspended solids. Operation requirements: Max medium temperature ≤40℃; pH value 5~9; Liquid density ≤1150kg/m³; Maximum submerging depth ≤20m.
