Product Overview
The SF Series Sand-Water Separator is an efficient and reliable dewatering system designed to separate sand, grit, and other heavy inorganic solids from wastewater. It is a critical component in municipal wastewater treatment plants, industrial pretreatment systems, and other applications where removing abrasive materials is key to protecting downstream equipment and improving the efficiency of the entire treatment process.
Working Principle
Wastewater containing grit is directed into the separation device. Heavy grit particles settle to the bottom via gravity and mechanical conveying. The specially designed spiral shaft steadily lifts and conveys the settled grit out of the water tank. During the lifting operation, free water drains back, and clean grit with greatly reduced water content is discharged.
