Product Overview
Our Rotary Drum Fine Screen is expertly designed for maximum efficiency and stable operation. It provides a complete solid-liquid separation solution for tough wastewater conditions, effectively removing fine suspended solids such as scum, short fibers and particles. The result is clear effluent and compact, dewatered screenings, simplifying downstream treatment and disposal.
Working Principle
Departing from the fragmented design of conventional equipment, this system consolidates interception, cleaning, lifting, and dewatering into a unified unit, forming a fully automated closed-loop operation that drastically streamlines wastewater solid handling processes.
1. Interception
The drum is mounted at an optimal 35-degree angle inside the channel and rotates at a steady speed. Wastewater enters through the inlet port, where fine screen panels intercept and retain solid particles to initiate preliminary solid-liquid separation.
2. Cleaning
As the drum revolves, adhered solids are automatically removed on a continuous basis. A synergistic combination of heavy-duty nylon brushes and a high-pressure spray nozzle system keeps the screen clog-free, ensuring consistent operational performance and throughput capacity.
3. Lifting & Conveyance
Separated solids are directed into an integrated central screw conveyor. This internal spiral mechanism gently lifts screenings upward and out of the water flow to prevent recontamination and backflow.
4. Dewatering & Discharge
Screenings are compacted and pressed in the discharge zone to drastically reduce volume and moisture content. The final dewatered cake is discharged directly into a collection bin or transport system. The fully enclosed automated process contains odors and maintains hygienic operating conditions.
