Product Overview
Engineered for high efficiency and dependable operation, the SF Series Sand-Water Separator is used to remove sand, grit, and other heavy inorganic solids from wastewater through dewatering and separation. This unit is indispensable in municipal wastewater treatment plants, industrial pretreatment systems, and similar applications where controlling abrasive solids helps protect equipment and improve overall process performance.
Working Principle
Wastewater with grit flows into the separating equipment. Heavy grit particles sink to the bottom by gravity sedimentation and mechanical conveying. A uniquely structured spiral shaft continuously conveys the settled grit upward and out of the tank. In this lifting process, free water is separated, and clean grit with low moisture content is discharged.
