Product Overview
Engineered to perform efficiently and reliably, our Rotary Drum Fine Screen is a complete separation solution designed for demanding wastewater applications. It achieves outstanding removal of fine suspended materials such as scum, short fibers and particles, providing clarified effluent and compact dewatered residues.
Working Principle
Featuring a space-saving modular structure, this system combines interception, cleaning, lifting, and dewatering into one compact unit, ideal for limited-space wastewater treatment installations.
1. Interception
The drum, placed at a 35° optimal angle within the channel, rotates steadily to intercept solid particles from incoming wastewater via high-efficiency fine screen panels.
2. Cleaning
Continuous automatic cleaning occurs as the drum turns, using wear-resistant nylon brushes and high-pressure nozzles to keep screens clear, ensuring consistent performance in a compact footprint.
3. Lifting & Conveyance
Separated solids are guided into the built-in modular screw conveyor, which lifts screenings upward out of the water flow efficiently within the unit’s compact frame.
4. Dewatering & Discharge
Solids are pressed and compacted to reduce moisture and volume, with dewatered cake discharged directly into collection bins. The fully enclosed modular design contains odors and maintains hygiene.
