Center Drive Single & Double Pipe Sludge Suction Machine for Circular Radial Sedimentation Tank
Brief Description
ZXGX center drive sludge suction machine is newly developed by absorbing foreign advanced technology, with similar operation principle to peripheral drive suction equipment. It generally adopts peripheral water inlet and peripheral water outlet. Single or double suction pipes converge sludge to tank center, and sludge discharge is controlled by water level difference. Equipped with scum collection device including scum trough, it can separately collect and discharge settled sludge and activated sludge. Widely used in circular radial sedimentation tanks for municipal and industrial wastewater treatment.
Product Overview
ZXGX series contains single-pipe and double-pipe configurations for selection. The whole set mainly consists of traveling bridge, central drive unit, vertical frame support, suction pipes, sludge collecting trough and scum skimming assembly. Standard peripheral linear speed: 3.0~4.5 m/min. Available tank diameter covers 25m ~ 50m. All wetted parts can choose carbon steel or stainless steel material on request.

Working Principle
Wastewater enters the tank from peripheral distribution channel. Uniform water distribution holes enable stable sedimentation of suspended solids. The central driving device drives the suction pipes to rotate slowly around the tank center. Sludge deposited on the tank bottom is sucked into pipelines by hydraulic pressure, then transported to central sludge well and discharged by water level difference. The scum skimming device collects floating scum into scum trough for separate discharge.

Notes:
1. Distribution head means height difference between average water level of distribution trough and tank water surface.
2. Water level difference △h means height difference between maximum and minimum water level inside distribution trough. Customized dimensions and materials are acceptable.
Key Design & Performance Features
1. Peripheral water distribution verified by hydraulic model; non-uniform layout of distribution holes ensures reasonable water distribution and high sedimentation efficiency.
2. Central support adopts steel structure, lowering construction difficulty and guaranteeing transmission precision.
3. Vertical frame suction pipes with reasonable counterweight, stable and reliable operation.
4. Liquid level and flow rate can be adjusted and controlled flexibly.
5. New-type transmission device delivers large transmission torque with overload protection function.
6. Optimized sludge collection trough and scraper design, thorough sludge suction effect.
Applications
Suitable for large-diameter circular radial primary sedimentation tank, used for removing settled sludge in municipal wastewater treatment plants, water supply plants and various industrial wastewater treatment stations. Available single pipe version for medium projects and double pipe version for projects with higher sludge volume.
