Product Overview

Our Externally Fed Drum Screen is a durable and efficient mechanical filtration system designed for the removal of fine suspended solids, fibers, and debris. In this outside-in flow design, water passes through the screen media from the outside to the inside, making it particularly effective for applications with higher solid loads or where pre-screened effluent is required. Working Principle

1. Water Inflow: The wastewater or process water is directed onto the external surface of the rotating drum screen.
2. Filtration: Water passes through the fine screen panels (wedge wire, perforated plate, or mesh) into the interior of the drum, while solids are retained on the outer surface.
3. Solids Transport & Cleaning: As the drum rotates, the captured solids are lifted out of the water. At the top, they are cleaned off by high-pressure spray nozzles (using filtered effluent or clean water).
